New Logo, New Design, New Manifesto, New Beast

It’s been a while. I know. My bad. But…I think you can tell it was worth the wait.

Today, I just want to give you a tour of the refresh, tell you where we are headed (i.e Be Everywhere), and give you The Naked You Manifesto for FREE. (Keep reading for more…)

New Logo

Let’s start with the biggie. As you can tell up top, we have a brand spanking new logo here at Become a Beast. Just in case you are confused, here’s our new baby…

Awesome right! Thanks to some incredible help from Caleb Wojcik & Benny Hsu on focusing my logo design, we came to a conclusion of this bad boy. The logo comes to us thanks to the work of LogoNerds. I was about to go with a pitch for a logo on a site like 99Designs (minimum pitch price is just under $300), but decided to see what I could get on a smaller budget first. To think we were able to get this bad ass Become a Beast shield for only $27 at LogoNerds made me a happy camper.

Below, you will see each of the revisions it took to get to the killer logo we’ve got now.

It’s simple. It’s clean cut. It’s the Beast.

To say I was pumped when I got the final revision is an understatement.

New Design

Thanks to the great folks at Woothemes, I was able to put together a half-decent redesign of Become a Beast using their Merchant theme. I feel like this theme can carry Become a Beast for a while with tweaks here and there, but I’d love to work with the Spyr Media guys down the road to get something killer like this.

The reason for the redesign was to get a site that looked more professional, well-deserving of your time and had a much simpler layout. There are a few things that will be changed in the near future to improve user interaction, but the current design is really what the base will be.

Our Facebook page (LIKE US by clicking here) will be updated this coming week. Come on, I couldn’t get everything done at once. 😉

New Direction

Now, we are still going to be killing it in the health and fitness realm, but instead of just writing articles, we will be introducing a few new ways to interact.

  • Video: Youtube videos detailing how I workout, live the Beast Lifestyle, and fuel this body will be coming at you soon.
  • Podcast: This isn’t going to be up and running for a few weeks, but is certainly on the pipeline. (Leave a comment with a podcast name suggestion if you can think of any. Try to include the word ‘Beast’ if you can)
  • Community: I am going to be STEALING from Joel and Steve in this regard…very, very soon.
  • T-Shirts: Fingers crossed I can get the new Beast logo on your chest sooner than later.
Those are just a few of the things I am working on. Hope you are as excited as I am.

New Manifesto

One of the things I have been working diligently on over the last month has been my new manifesto.

The Naked You Manifesto details how I have been able to become the healthiest and fittest Beast I possibly can and how you can follow in my footsteps. If the principles in this manifesto are applied to your life, I am 100% confident you will start seeing the Naked You you want to see in the mirror.

Best of all….IT’S FREE!!!

You can get The Naked You Manifesto for free by signing up to join the Beast Squad below. (We don’t spam you so no worries in joining. We promise.)

We are always open to suggestions so please feel free to shoot some ideas are way via Twitter or our contact page.

Let the fun begin continue…. 🙂
